NMEA Elections

Elected Positions:  Elections for the positions of Secretary and President-Elect are held every two years, with nominations and voting taking place in the spring of odd-numbered years. Ballots are emailed to all members, and you will need your NMEA/NAfME membership number to vote.

Looking to get involved?

There are many ways to serve NMEA beyond elected positions. The following roles are currently open and do not require a vote:

• Music in Our Schools Month Chair

• Nevada Notes Magazine – Seeking contributors to help develop articles in the following areas: Orchestra, Mariachi, Jazz, and Elementary Music

• All-State Committee Members – Needed for each ensemble
