All-State Audition/Nomination Student Information

Students see your music director for more information on the audition/nomination process. All-State Audition and/or Participation fees will be paid by each school and their ensemble director/s. All students will need to see their school director for more information on audition fees and audition registration. Students and parents please contact your school music or ensemble director with any questions you might have about your students auditions.

$20 Fees for Auditions are to be paid on the audition site Opus Events.

Directors and Students: Please be aware that according to NMEA Policy students may NOT be in more than one All-State Ensemble. Students can audition for more than one All-State ensemble but will have to select one if they make more than one ensemble. Teachers: please be sure to communicate this to your students, and if this does apply please contact the Ensemble Chairs.

Important Dates

September 2 - Director Registration and audition materials open.
October 17 - Checks are due and must be received by David Morris on this date. (Checks are made payable to NMEA)
October 27 - Registration Closes and all remaining payments are Due. Registration must be completed by the school Directors
October 27 -Audition Submission Window Opens
November 14 - at 11:59 pm Audition Submission Window Closes
November 21 - 2025 All-State Results will be Released

Audition Fees

$20 Fee for each Audition
To pay by credit card - go to Opus Events, login, and be sure to complete your registration then complete your purchase.
To pay by check - go to Opus Events, login, and be sure to complete your registration, then get an invoice. Mail all checks to our State Executive David Morris at 1100 Wellness Place. #1115 Henderson, NV. 89011. Please write checks out to Nevada Music Educators Association.
All Audition fees are to be payed by each schools director and not by parents or students.
Students will not be able to audition on Opus Events if audition fees have not been paid and/or registration has not been completed.

The preferred method of Payment is Credit Card (You will be able to access an Invoice to give to your School Banker). Payment is due by October 27th!!!
If you would rather pay by School Check: Payable to NMEA—It must be RECEIVED by David Morris by October 17th!!!!
